The price for my stay was really cheap, which was a positive aspect. The location of the hostel was great, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shops. Another advantage was the inclusion of breakfast, which saved me money and time in the mornings.
There were some negative aspects to my stay. The rooms were much smaller than pictured and the shower was barely functional.

Value for money, not a bad location...
Very noisy. All the reviews are true. Noisy noisy noisy. Dont expect you can sleep before 2a.M. and the buses are passing across all night long. So if you want a quite sleep, dont choose this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of the receptionist on our arrival. His friendly smile and cute voice immediately made us feel at ease after a long day of traveling.

The best part is the bus stop in front of the hostel bringing you back to London.
The hotel was not clean, far from it. Bed covers, matress, pillows were full of brown staines. The hallway and the room stink (smelt terrible). The kitchen looked uncompliant to minimum hygien standards. I left the hostel after my first night and booked at another one, at the same price but far far far far better manage: the generator by Russels Square (even closer to the British Museum and Covent Garden.

It's its location near the station. It's no necessery to take the metro, as it's too expensive. Next time, I will select it once more.

I booked a bed in a 4 people room. It is a very small and stinky room in a basement. And also a noisy place which is near the pub area in London, and people around this area are usually drunk and noisy, it seemed to be not safe. And everything can be heard in the room, so very noisy for sleeping. Credit card will be charged 5% more without any pre-notification. A locker costs 1.5pound each day. And 10 pounds needed to be deposited for the door card which was unreasonable. Breakfasts are simply breads on the dirty plates. The whole hostel is dirty, including the room, the sheets, and the bed, especially the stinky smile in a basement. Quilt was kind like not be washed for more than a year, even the new sheets from reception had some hair and dirt inside. Same cheap hostel you have more choice in London, but definitely not this one. I don't understand why Booked.net put such bad hostel on their website. It was the worst part of my trip in London

Pleasant staff, rooms were nice, location was exceptional, just behind camden high street.
Nothing wrong with the hotel, one of the fellow guests was a bit odd but not their fault at all.

I recently stayed at Smart Camden Inn for a few nights during my trip to explore the vibrant Camden Town neighborhood. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation, shops, restaurants, and the famous Camden markets. The hostel itself was impressively clean, including the kitchen area which was spotless. The spacious common areas and outdoor seating were great for meeting new people and enjoying the summer evenings. The air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver, keeping it cool on a hot day. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
Totally recommend this hotel.

For a cheap backpackers this is fine. I just needed a cheap bed for the night and got it. Plenty of space in the room for luggage in lockers. Nothing unexpected here.

The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of things to do nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any issues or questions. The breakfast included in the stay was a nice bonus.
The cleanliness of the hostel was a major issue. The floors were consistently dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning.

location
Noisy. Other guests had no regard for people's desire to sleep. It was like trying to sleep in a night club.
